Schmidt v. Krikorian

 

During the 2008 elections campaign, David Krikorian slung mud at the incumbent Congresswoman Jean Schmidt (R-Ohio) by claiming that "Representative Jean Schmidt had taken $30,000 in blood money to deny the genocide of Christian Armenians by Muslim Turks.”

This was of course another Armenian smear campaign, which they use against any congressional or local candidate who refuse to take for granted their narrow-minded arguments, falsified genocide claims and fanatical anti-Turkish agenda.

US Federal Court Rejects Armenian Reparations

9th Circuit Court of Appeals invalidated the 2000 Poochigian Law, in Movsesian v. Victoria Versicherung, et al.

In 2000 California enacted a law sponsored by state Senator Chuck Poochigian that sought to force insurance companies that had sold life insurance in the Ottoman Empire to Ottoman Armenians in effect to pay reparations to Armenian claimants under the disputed theory that they died from acts of genocide.

Google Limits Free Speech

Turkish Community, friends of Turkey and defenders of free speech are called upon to act against Google’s violation this essential human right. Please read the action alert from Turkish Coalition of America below: 

 

The Turkish Coalition of America for months maintained Google Ads for its website, www.turkishcoalition.org, without protest or incident.  But after an aggressive campaign by an Armenian American group Google suddenly and without a chance for the Turkish Coalition of America (TCA) to respond suspended the ads saying that they violated its “Anti” policy.  Google also said that it could not accept ads for websites that, “suggest revisions to history.”

The notion that there is a Google-accepted version of history is extraordinarily disturbing.

Armenian Terrorism on 07.14.1983

  Armenian gunmen assassinate Turkish Embassy Administrative Attaché, Dursun Aksoy, while in his automobile waiting at a traffic light. Armenian Secret Army for the Liberation of Armenia (ASALA), Armenian Revolutionary Army (ARA) and Justice Commandos against Armenian Genocide (JCAG) claimed responsibility. TurkishPAC strongly condems Armenian terrorist acts.

TurkishPAC organized a fundraiser for Ohio Congresswoman Jean Schmidt. In this event Turkish PAC contributed $2500 and a total of $7500 was raised. TurkishPAC – Dallas branch is established.

April 2009 Activities

TurkishPAC contributed $1000 to the fundraiser for Florida Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen. TurkishPAC contributed $2500 to the fundraiser for Texas Congressman John Culberson. Congressman also joined the Turkish Caucus, bringing the total number of members in the caucus to over 80, majority of whom are from Texas.
